US President Biden has sent letters to leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia pushing both sides to sign a peace agreement by the end of the current year, aiming to end “centuries-long conflict”. In the letter, Biden also said that the US is ready to take “bold initiatives” to help Armenia and Azerbaijan reach a peace deal.
