Georgia’s crucial tourism sector has demonstrated consistent growth in the first half of the year. Revenues have escalated by 48.8% YoY to USD 1.7 bln, as reported by local investment bank Galg & Taggart. Additionally, the government’s statistical body, Geostat, showed a 102% increase in tourism revenues in Q1 2023, compared to the first three months of the previous year, totaling USD 795 mln.
