Paraguay’s central bank forecasts the country’s GDP growth at 0.2% in 2022. The country’s GDP growth contracted 2% YoY in the first quarter of this year due to declines in agriculture after a drought that slashed soybean harvest. The central bank expects GDP to expand in the third and fourth quarters of this year.
