Paraguay’s central bank held its 2023 growth projection at 4.5%. The bank is anticipating that an increased contribution from hydroelectric power generation will balance a weaker outlook for the construction and manufacturing sectors. Additionally, the bank has lowered its inflation forecast for the end of 2023 from 4.5% to 4.1%. It expects inflation will align with the 4% target in the forthcoming months and remain around that level by the end of 2024.
