Kazakhstan’s government forecasted a national budget deficit of 2.7% of GDP for 2025, with plans to reduce this to 2.2% in 2026 and 1.9% in 2027. The non-oil deficit is projected to decrease from 7.3% of GDP in 2025 to 4% by 2027. Budget revenues, excluding transfers, are expected to reach 15.6 tln tenge in 2025.
