Crude oil prices dropped to USD 61/barrel on Monday, fluctuating as news of potential looser restrictions on Iranian crude clashed with a temporary US tariff let off. Countries in the OPEC+ agreement cut output by 24,000 bpd in March vs. February, but production still exceeded agreed levels by 102,000 bpd. OPEC output fell by 65,000 bpd to 21.27 mln bpd but was 166,000 bpd above target. Iraq produced 3.98 mln bpd, 34,000 bpd less than in February but still nearly 100,000 bpd over quota. Nigeria also exceeded its limit by 15,000 bpd for the first time in over a year, while the UAE and Kazakhstan both overshot their targets.
