Albania’s annual inflation rate eased to 4.0% in August 2023, down from 4.2% the previous month, mainly due to a slowdown in food and transportation prices. Consumer prices increased by 0.6% MoM. Separately, Kosovo’s annual inflation rate rose to 3.2% in August 2023, up from 2.4% in the previous month. Consumer prices increased by 0.1% MoM, easing from a rise of 0.4% in the prior month.
