Kyrgyzstan’s central bank kept its benchmark interest rate at 9% for the seventh consecutive meeting, supported by stable inflation and economic recovery. Inflation remains moderate at 6.9% YoY, while GDP grew by 10.6% in January 2025, driven by higher incomes, remittances, and consumer credit. The bank also kept its overnight credit and deposit rates at 11% and 4%, respectively.
