In other CIS news, the European Commission completed the disbursement of a EUR 50 mln second tranche of Macro-Financial Assistance totaling EUR 150 mln to Moldova. The first EUR 50 mln tranche was disbursed in August 2022. In Armenia, Turkey closed its airspace to Armenian aircraft due to a monument in Yerevan honoring individuals responsible for killing Turkish officials. The two countries do not have diplomatic relations but have engaged in talks to normalize ties.
