A recent poll in Moldova indicated that 36% of respondents support pro-Western President Maia Sandu in the upcoming presidential election, with Socialist Party-backed Alexandr Stoianoglo trailing at around 10%. Additionally, support for a pro-EU path, which will be voted on in a referendum held alongside the election, has increased to 63%, up from 57% in April.
