Russia started the season exporting wheat at almost twice the speed of last year. According to Interfax, the country has shipped 1.2mln tons of grain in the first two weeks of this agricultural year. According to Russia’s agricultural ministry, the average farming yield is 24% higher than last year. Separately Gazprom entered into a $40bln MOU with the National Iranian Oil Company to develop Kish and North Pars gas and six oil fields in Iran.
