Serbia’s inflation rose by 4.5% YoY in October, accelerating from a 4.2% annual increase recorded in September. In annual terms, the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the largest weight in the consumer basket, rose by 4.4% in October after increasing by 3.8% in the prior month.
