Serbia’s trade deficit widened by 30.3% YoY to EUR 3.18 bln in Jan–Apr 2025, as import growth outpaced exports, according to official data. Total trade rose 10.6% YoY to EUR 24.85 bln, with exports up 8.2% to EUR 10.83 bln and imports climbing 12.5% to EUR 14.01 bln. Export coverage fell to 77.2% from 80.4% last year, reflecting deteriorating trade dynamics amid weak EU growth and global uncertainty.
