Tajikistan’s energy minister confirmed that an agreement was reached between his country and Kazakhstan to export energy from the Rogun dam. In May, Uzbekistan announced that it would also be purchasing power from the Rogun hydropower dam. The Rogun dam is Tajikistan’s most high-profile and indebted national project.
