Crude oil prices surged over 3% to USD 69/barrel on Monday, reaching their highest in more than a week, after President Biden approved US long-range missile supplies to Ukraine for strikes inside Russia, one of the world’s largest crude producers. The decision comes as North Korean troops assist Russia near Ukraine’s northern border.
