The Czech Republic began importing gas from Algeria in October to reduce dependency on Russian supplies amid the Ukraine conflict. The CEZ power group stated that the Algerian supply, routed via Tunisia and Italy, covers approximately 2% of the Czech Republic’s gas demand, enough for 100k households.
