Ukraine’s FX decreased by 1.8% in July due to the central bank’s net sales of USD 3.3 bln to manage a structural FX deficit and curb the depreciation of the hryvnia. Payments on foreign debt also contributed to the reserve decline, although this was partially offset by tranches from international partners and sales of local currency-denominated bonds.
