Ukraine

NATO is devising a USD 100 bln, 5-year military aid package for Ukraine to ensure continuous assistance despite potential political shifts within member states. The initiative, spearheaded by Secretary-General Stoltenberg, aims to transition the coordination of military support from the US to NATO, reducing Ukraine’s reliance on the US. The plan, aiming for consensus by the July NATO summit, is expected to provide immediate benefits alongside a long-term NATO accession pathway.
