Ukraine

The European Council has reached an agreement on extending duty-free trade with Ukraine, setting specific quotas for duty-free Ukrainian produce imports to mitigate agricultural disputes. This agreement, which incorporates the second half of 2021 into the reference period alongside 2022-2023, will reportedly increase the cost to the Ukrainian budget by USD 86 mln, totaling USD 331 mln. The European Parliament’s approval is pending for this agreement to take effect.
