The World Bank downgraded its forecast for growth in Ukraine, to 2.00% YoY in 2025, down from its previous forecast in June of 6.5%. However it anticipates a robust recovery of 7.00% in 2026, based on the ending of active conflict and beginning of significant reconstruction efforts. The bank estimates that growth in Ukraine was 3.2% in 2024, with the economy showing “significant resilience” despite reduced energy capacity and power outages.
