Uzbekistan’s President Mirziyoyev announced that the economy grew by 6.6% YoY in September, primarily driven by domestic resources. The growth rate is expected to be at least 6% for the entire year. The government aims to enhance the value added in exports, improve tax collection without changing tax rates, and implement fiscal reforms to increase the self-sufficiency of local budgets.
