Argentina monthly inflation rate increased to 7.7% in March, higher than the market expectation of 7.1% and up from 6.6% in the previous month. That is the highest monthly increase in prices since at least 2014. The annual inflation rate in Argentina remained high at 104.3% YoY, the highest since 1991, and up from 102.5% in the previous month. Meanwhile, JPMorgan revised its forecast for Argentina’s year-end inflation to 130%, citing risks from severe drought and increasing FX and monetary imbalances.
