Brazil’s inflation forecast for 2025 rose to 5.60%, above the 4.5% target ceiling. GDP growth expectations were slightly reduced to 2.01%. Inflation projections for 2026 and 2027 also saw upward revisions. The Central Bank aims for 3% inflation, with tolerance for a 1.5 pp deviation, and if exceeded for six months, it will be considered a miss.
