Vietnam and Brazil agreed to boost bilateral trade to USD 15 bln by 2030 and increase cooperation in areas such as national defense, security, technology, and clean energy. The two leaders also discussed the potential for a trade agreement between Vietnam and the Mercosur bloc. Vietnam may open its market to Brazilian beef as part of the strategy to increase high-value exports from Brazil.
