Colombia’s trade deficit shrank to USD 0.9 bln in February from the corresponding month of the prior year’s USD 1.6 bln, its lowest in eight months. Imports declined by 13.2% YoY to a low of USD 5.06 billion, mainly due to lower purchases of manufactured products. On the other hand, exports dropped by 0.2% to USD 4.2 bln, as shipments for agricultural goods and manufacturing goods fell.
