Colombia’s consumer confidence index dropped to -18.8 in July 2023, a decrease of 1.4 points from -17.4 in the previous month. Consumer confidence decreased, especially in lower socioeconomic groups, and showed geographical variation. There was a reduced willingness to purchase homes and household appliances, while the intent to buy vehicles increased.
