Costa Rica proposed a national budget of approximately USD 23.6 bln for 2025, marking a 1.9% decrease from the current year’s budget. The proposal maintains a budget deficit of 3.29% of GDP, financed through local debt issuance. The finance ministry expects the economy to expand by 4% both this year and next.
