Costa Rica’s economy continued to grow, with a 4.2% YoY increase in July’s Monthly Index of Economic Activity and an annual average growth rate of 4.3%. Inflation remains below target, and unemployment fell to 7.8%, down 1.8 pp from July 2023. Growth is projected to slow to 4% in 2024 and 2025, down from 5.1% in 2023.
