TotalEnergies and Eni signed a host government agreement with Egypt and Cyprus to develop gas resources for export to Europe. The deal includes processing gas from Cyprus’ Cronos field at Egypt’s Zohr facilities and liquefying it at the Damietta LNG plant for export to Europe.
