Egypt signed a 10-year agreement with Höegh Evi Ltd. to deploy a floating LNG import terminal at Sumed port by Q4 2026. The vessel will supply up to 1,000 mln standard cubic feet of gas per day. Egypt’s energy deficit more than doubled to USD 11.3 bln last year.
