Ghana received 98.6% participation from its international bondholders to restructure USD 13 bln of Eurobonds. The government will issue new bonds to replace existing ones and pay post-default interest covering debt service due from December 2022 to the end of 2023. Ghana is still in talks with the 1.4% of bondholders who didn’t support the exchange, ensuring comparability.
