Guinea-Bissau will showcase its ongoing economic reforms to an IMF mission on Wednesday. The fund’s visit aims to unlock a USD 3.16 mln disbursement from the IMF’s 36-month ECF of USD 38.4 mln, approved in January. Having received USD 3.2 mln thus far, Guinea-Bissau is anticipating its second disbursement. With the IMF predicting a 4.5% economic expansion in 2023, following a 3.5% GDP growth in 2022, the future appears promising for the nation.
