The IMF will disburse USD 606 mln to Kenya to stabilize its finances following anti-government protests over tax reforms. This support will bolster FX reserves and assist President Ruto’s administration in managing an increased budget deficit, now expected to reach 4.3% of GDP, up from a previous 3.3% estimate.
