Kenya’s remittances from abroad grew 9.6% YoY in July, compared to a 7.4% increase in June. Meanwhile, following deadly protests, Kenya’s finance ministry is revisiting some of the scrapped tax measures from the Finance Bill 2024, initially intended to generate an additional KES 344 bln (USD 2.7 bln) this fiscal year.
