Mauritius’ annual inflation rate softened for the fourth consecutive month to 8.3% in April amid a slowdown in food, housing, and transportation costs. Consumer prices dropped by 0.1% MoM in April. Separately, Tunisia annual inflation rate eased slightly to 10.1% in April 2023, down from 10.3% in March, mainly driven by a slowdown in food and transportation prices. Consumer prices rose by 1.2 % MoM in April, the highest increase in a year.
