Mozambique registered a 4.7% YoY growth in Q2, up from 4.2% in the prior quarter. Key sectors contributing were agriculture (3.1% growth) and mining (42.7% growth), while manufacturing witnessed a decline of 7.7%. The country also recorded a dip in inflation to 5.67% YoY in July, down from 6.81% in June and its lowest since August 2021, influenced mainly by a slowdown in food and beverage prices.
