Namibia’s planned green bond issuance to fund renewable energy projects has been delayed due to setbacks in an EU initiative to assist developing markets with such issuances. The delay in financial close under the EU’s Global Green Bond Initiative has postponed Namibia’s sovereign green bond launch.
