Namibia’s inflation rate increased to 4.7% YoY in August, up from 4.5% in July, mainly driven by a sharp rise in food costs. Interestingly, transportation prices decreased. Consumer prices rose by 0.4% MoM in August, a slight uptick from the 0.3% increase in July.
