Namibia’s economic performance experienced a downturn in the second quarter, with growth easing to 3.7% annually. The Namibia Statistics Agency cited substantial declines in the Construction, Agriculture, and Forestry sectors, which plunged by 35.9% and 31.9% YoY respectively. The financial services sector experienced a modest decline of 2.6%, while the Mining sector marked a notable increase, growing by 32%.
