Rwanda has signed an agreement with the Canadian-German company Dual Fluid to initiate a nuclear energy generation project. That marks a significant step for Rwanda in diversifying its energy sources to power its economic development. Rwanda’s atomic energy board stated that once fully operational, the nuclear energy project could contribute as much as 300 MW to Rwanda’s electricity grid.
