Rwanda’s inflation rate fell slightly to 4.9% YoY in July, down from 5% in June. The annual average inflation from July 2023 to July 2024 was 7.2%. This decrease is credited to effective monetary policies by the central bank and government interventions that maintained inflation within the target range of 5-8%.
