Senegal formed a commission of experts to reassess its oil and gas contracts as it joins the ranks of oil producers. The country is expected to start natural gas production by year-end. This move follows President Bassirou Faye’s campaign promise for substantial sector reforms and an audit of the natural resources sectors.
