Tunisia has started rescheduling 1.1 billion dinars in arrears owed by state-owned utilities (gas, electricity, and water). The move follows instructions from President Kais Saied and involves debt rescheduling over seven years for customers of utilities like STEG and Sonede, aiming to restore services for overdue customers and waive penalties.
