Tunisia’s inflation rose to 9.3% YoY in August 2023 after five consecutive months of decline. Notably, food prices rose by 15.2% in August, up from 14.2% in July, while transportation prices remained elevated at 7.7% YoY. Core inflation slightly decreased to 7.2%. Consumer prices rose by 0.6% MoM, following a 0.7% rise in the prior month.
