Zambia’s annual inflation rate significantly declined to 7.4% in July from 15.2% in June. The reduction comes even as the country faces increased food prices due to an El Nino-induced drought, which escalated annual food inflation to 17.4% from 16.8% last month. Non-food inflation slightly eased to 12.6% from 13% in June.
